집에 돌아와선 iPad에 다운로드한 요가 프로그램 40분 틀어 놓고 "최선을 다해" 따라했다.

물론 오늘 점심 파스타, 저녁 roast beef and American cheese with mayo sandwich를 먹긴 했지만 내일의 몸무게에 대한 기대 조금 해 보려 한다.
무슨 잡지를 읽다 스크랩해 놓은 걸 이제서야 검색해 보았다. 요가/필라테스를 섞은 듯한 운동을 팝 음악에 맞춰 에어로빅 같기도 하지만 rockin "모델" 웤아웃이라는 제목이 특별한 관심을 끈다.



난 오늘 침대에서 일어나다 미처 깨어나지 않은 "fell asleep"한 왼쪽 다리의 지지를 못 받고 엎어지는 바람에 발목을 삐어 당분간 운동은 못 할 거 같다. 어차피 2010년의 목표를 달성하지 못한 채 2011년은 56.5kg 로 시작한다.

꽉찬 부페 후 걱정스런 마음과 죄책감으로 임한 빠른걸음,

대략 6.0-7.4km/h 로 40분의 효과: 265 칼로리 소모, 다음날 몸무게 56kg (다행)

금년 목표체중 54kg을 이루기엔 오늘 하루가 턱없이 부족하기에 할 수 없이 금년 초 시작체중 56kg에 다시 복귀했다는 거에 만족해야겠음.

아침 몸무게: 놀랍게도 56-56.5kg (어제의 과다한 인도음식이 과하지 않았단 말인가.)

하지만 조심조심 음식 조절하여,

breakfast: 식빵 1조각, 우유, 곤과 미역국

lunch: snack bar with extra fiber

dinner: 힐튼 부페 4접시 더하기 케잌과 요거트 아이스크림 -_-;;;

그럼에도 불구하고 이 사진에 홀딱 넘어감: "2010년 최고의 길거리 음식," The Best Street Food I Ate in 2010

난 이제 "40-50분 빠른 걸음"의 의무를 완성하기 위해 나간다...

Tacos from Izzoz Tacos in Austin, TX: Please don't make me pick just one taco. I really, really can't. Inside this taco trailer, John Galindo slow-cooks carne guisada for his Escobar tacos. The stewed meat, a Central Texas tradition, cooks in a big pot for four hours in the morning. He also braises meat machaca-style for eight hours (eight!) for his Slowrider tacos. The meat comes out tender, pull-aparty, and fully-seasoned, topped with bright garnishes like pickled cabbage and a cilantro-lime aioli. His breakfast tacos are also some of the best in the city.

난 오늘,

breakfast: pizza 1 slice, chicken finger 1 piece, 대구곤이 들은 미역국

lunch: snack bar (extra fiber)

dinner: excessive Indian curry (with lamb), 2 big pieces of naan, 2 pieces samosas  

섭취하고 이에 대한 대안으로 이대에서 공덕역까지의 눈/얼음길을 긴장하며 걸어 오늘의 task인 "빠른걸음 40-50분"을 완성했다. 오늘 아침엔 성공적인 56kg 대를 기록하였으나 내일 아침은 몇일까.

친구말마따나 이건 잘못된 집착일까.
하여튼...

내가 좋아하는 여배우 중 하나인 산드라 블록. 꾸미지 않은 듯한 당당함과 ("there's no race, no religion, no class system, no color, nothing, no sexual orientation that makes us better than anyone else") 솔직한 ('WE'RE PAID TO BE SKINNY') 멋스러움이 매력적으로 조화를 이룬다. 산드라 블록도 체력유지를 위해서 필라테스, 킥복싱 등을 열심히 한다고 하는군. 흠.

Sandra Bullock, who won the Best Actress Oscar at the 2010 Academy Awards, sizzled in a silver beaded Marchesa gown as she gave a touching acceptance speech March 8 in Hollywood.

'MOM, THANKS FOR MAKING ME PRACTICE'

Bullock, 45, graciously thanked the four other Best Actress nominees, including Carey Mulligan, Helen Mirren, Gabourey Sidibe and Meryl Streep.

Sandra concluded her acceptance speech by thanking her mom, Helga D. Meyer, a German opera singer who died in 2000.

Bullock, who looks fit and much younger than her age, joked last month that she would get liposuction before the Oscars.

Clearly, whatever she did worked, as Sandra dazzled on the red carpet just hours before winning the Best Actress award.

'WE'RE PAID TO BE SKINNY'

Bullock previously revealed that she maintains her svelte figure by working out regularly and watching her diet.

“I do a lot of Pilates, kick-boxing and weight training in Los Angeles, and when I’m in Austin I run or ride my bike,” says Sandra, who splits her time between L.A. and her Texas ranch.

Bullock also varies her routine by incorporating plyometrics, boxing and weight-lifting into her workouts.

Sandra showed off the results of her hard work in a much talked-about nude scene in The Proposal (co-starring hottie Ryan Reynolds).

Says Bullock: “People ask, ‘How do actresses do it [stay so fit]?’ Um, they pay us to do this in order to look good on film.”

TRANSCRIPT:

Did I really earn this or did I just wear you all down? I would like to thank the Academy for allowing me in the last month to have the most incredible ride with rooms full of artists that I see tonight and that I’ve worked with before and I hope to work with in the future, who inspire me and blaze trails for us.

Four of them that I’ve fallen deeply in love with I share this night with and I share this award with: Gabby, I love you so much. You are exquisite. You are beyond words to me.

Carey, your grace and your elegance and your beauty and your talent makes me sick.

Helen, I feel like we are family through family and I don’t have the words to express just what I think of you. And Meryl, you know what I think of you and you are such a good kisser.

I have so many people to thank for my good fortune in this lifetime and this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, I know.

To the family that allowed me to play them, the Tuohy family, I know they’re in here and you’ll probably hear her in a minute. Maybe not. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to… the family that made this film that gave me the opportunity to do something different.

I, in particular, failed to thank one. So… if I can take this moment to thank Helga B. for not letting me ride in cars with boys until I was 18 because she was right. I would’ve done what she said I was gonna do. For making me practice every day when I got home. Piano, ballet, whatever it is I wanted to be.

She said to be an artist, you had to practice every day, and for reminding her daughters that there’s no race, no religion, no class system, no color, nothing, no sexual orientation that makes us better than anyone else. We are all deserving of love.

So, to that trailblazer, who allowed me to have that [Sandra nods to husband Jesse James in the audience]. And this. And this.

예전 공부하던 시절에는 물구나무서기가 머리에 좋다고 들었었고 직장 다니고부터 배가 자주 아팠을 땐 물구나무서기가 장에 좋다고 들었었다.

그러면 다이어트에도 좋을까.

The Many Benefits of Handstands for Health

Watching any child pop up into a handstand and jump back down on any playground, you are likely to see a broad grin: the benefits of a playful handstand is immediately obvious to a child. Whether done as play, in gymnastics or a yoga practice, handstands invert the body and help reverse the adverse effects of gravity.

Stimulates Endocrine System

Handstands are considered elevations in the yoga system because the head is lower than the heart in the final pose. Handstand, or Adho Mukha Vrkasana, helps to stimulate the entire endocrine system, according to Pam Werner of Sun and Moon Yoga Studio in Fairfax, Virginia. Once the body is turned upside down with the feet at the top and head closest to the ground, blood is moved to the head. This stimulates the pituitary gland in the head, which helps the set point for a healthy weight. The inversion brings blood to the thyroid glands to help regulate the production of T3 and T4, which also affects metabolism. Handstand brings blood to the adrenal glands to help reduce production of cortisol, the "stress hormone" that is released when we are on a deadline or moving through heavy traffic. Unchecked, some people experience adrenal exhaustion if they are not able to quiet this normal response to stressful situations.

Builds Upper Body Strength

Handstands requires upper body strength and this will build the large muscles used to sustain it, according to B.K.S. Iyengar, the venerable founder of Iyengar yoga practiced worldwide. These include the pectoralis major of the chest, the front of the shoulders, anterior deltoids and the back of the shoulders, posterior deltoids. You also build muscular strength of the large muscles of the back: latissimus and trapezius.

Helps Relieve Minor Depression

Handstands are a well-known remedy in yoga circles as a mood-elevator and can help reduce minor depression, according to "Yoga Journal." By bringing blood to the head, you often can relieve a minor headache, improve digestion and elimination. The reason is gravity is bringing blood --- and oxygen to the head, which is normally upright and slung forward to some degree that can create minor neck strain. During handstands, the small and large intestine are also inverted and the action of the inversion can help relieve irregularity by moving their contents. The inversion also puts pressure on the illeocecal valve, which can help prompt detoxification.

12월 21일은 몸무게가 55.5kg까지 내려갔었으나 어제 오늘은 보드 타러 와서 매우 심란한 식단을 따름 (하지만 입은 매우 행복했음):

breakfast: rice with 김치
lunch: whopper junior set with onion rings
dinner: 육개장

내일 크리스마스 아침 몸무게가 궁금함.

참고로 오늘 점심은 피자를 먹을 예정. 아하핫.

이제 몸살/감기는 완전히 회복한 것 같고 운동을 시작해야 할 시간.

현재 몸무게: 56.5kg

실은 운동했던 그 어느 때보다도 몸살과 굶은 걸로 최고의 효과를 낸 셈이다. 역시 먹는 만큼 살이라는 진리를 다시 한번 깨닫게 되는 계기였다.

breakfast: yogurt, toast, glass of milk

snack: iced coffee

dinner: 치아바타빵 (+) 아이스크림 1 스쿱 (+) 족발 뼈주위 살 7조각 정도

앞으로 점심과 저녁은 최대한으로 적은 양을 먹으며 유산소운동을 병행할 계획.
